The Cleveland Cavaliers are on a three-game winning streak and have a chance to make it four straight tonight when they welcome in the Denver Nuggets. The Cavs have not won four straight games all year.

Denver comes into the game on an eight-game winning streak and third in the league in offense with 104.7 points per game. Four of their five starters are averaging over 12 points per game. They are currently the fourth seed in the Western Conference but had none of their players selected to the All-Star game.

The Cavs have been putting together an impressive stretch of games lately, due to large part of their newly acquired players. They are 5-2 since Marreese Speights and Wayne Ellington came to Cleveland. Speights is averaging 14.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per night.

In the last meeting between these two teams, the Cavs were competitive through four quarters but let up a crucial three to Danilo Gallinari late in the game. If the Cavs want to remain on this winning streak, they must stay hot shooting like they have the past three games. Last night they shot 49 percent from the field and 50 percent from three-point range.

Last night the Cavs were lazy on defense, but when the fourth quarter rolled around, they defended when they needed to lead them to the victory. Tonight, Alonzo Gee will have his hands full with Gallinari, who is averaging 17.1 points. Ty Lawson will also be a big factor tonight. He is a point guard who loves to push the tempo and Kyrie Irving will not be able to take any possessions off on defense.
