The one notable name missing is small forward Alonzo Gee. Technically, as he is a restricted free agent, he isn’t on the Cavs official roster, but it would have been a huge plus for him to play this summer in Vegas. He’s still a young, raw player that needs some seasoning. Gee playing alongside Irving & co. would have been beneficial for the Cavs as well, as it would have given them insight on how he fits in on the current roster.
