We talked about this on Tuesday afternoon. The Cavaliers are going to experience a good deal of highs and lows this season. They’re going to play very well in some games – as evidenced by Wednesday night’s game – and they’re going to look completely lost in others – as evidenced by Friday night’s game.
So we’re going to keep this short and sweet.
Not to point out anyone individually because, as I’ve been saying for the last few weeks, this season is about team effort. The Cavaliers turned the ball over 19 times while picking up just 15 assists. For a team with no defined superstar, 19 turnovers just is not going to get it done. Especially when the majority of your offense is based on transition.
That is the bottom line. Take care of the basketball like they did on Wednesday night and they put themselves in good position to pick up a win. Cough it up like they did on Friday and, well, a 20 point loss to the Toronto Raptors is the result.
It’s a learning process, Cavs fans. Live and learn. These guys are only going to get better.
